We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Social Work Apprentices in our Children & Families teams in Enfield, starting Tuesday 3rd September 2024.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to achieve an undergraduate degree in Social Work, whilst gaining ‘on the job’ experience to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Social Worker.
We encourage our Enfield Residents to apply for this fantastic opportunity to give back to the borough they call home.
The apprenticeship course is run by the University of Kent. More details can be found here.
After successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Work (England), which will enable you to apply for registration as a Social Worker with the regulatory body, Social Work England. Thereafter you will be supported to apply for a Newly Qualified Social Worker role at Enfield Council.

An Enfield Social Work apprenticeship information session will be held virtually on MS Teams – Thursday 23rd May 2024 at 5pm – 6.30pm.
