Are you an experienced social worker who has an interest in developing and enhancing others but want to remain in practice. The role of Consultant Social Worker will enable you to develop your managerial skills whilst still having the opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families.
Frontline offers Consultant Social Workers the opportunity to attend bespoke and high-quality training to enable you to support participants through their first year on the programme. In addition, you will be provided additional in-house training and support from our current Consultant Social Workers allowing you to work as a team to deliver high quality supervision and student support.

All our frontline teams such as Safeguarding, Intake and Adolescent are experienced in working with students and are committed to learning and development of our upcoming social workers.
• This is a rewarding and fast past working environment where you will be supported and supervised directly by the Team Manager. Additional support is provided by the University Tutor and the Principal Social Worker.

1. To work effectively as part of the Council’s Safeguarding & Specialist management team delivering corporate objectives through the work of the department.
2. To ensure that children and families receive a high standard of service from Frontline participant trainee Social Workers and that Safeguarding procedures are consistently applied to children and young people.
3. To support and guide Frontline participant trainee social work staff through legal processes as required, to ensure the highest standards of practice are achieved and timely permanence decisions are made.
4. To ensure all services meet key and measurable objectives, delivered to the highest achievable professional standards and within an equalities framework and operated within clear and up to date operational policies and requirements of statutory regulations and Government guidance.
