About the role

Enfield Leaving Care Team is offering an opportunity to join the Team as a Social Worker on a full-time permanent basis.

Enfield Care Leavers Service has been consistently graded GOOD by OFSTED; this includes a very reassuring feedback provided by OFSTED as part of the last focus inspection on the Service which took place in July 2022.

Our specialist Service supports young people, LAC and Care Leavers, from the age of 16 onwards to prepare them for leaving care and live independent and successful lives.

As a Social Worker you will be working with young people over the age of 16 who remain in the care of the Local Authority as well as with Care Leavers. The main aim of the role is to support them in achieving their aspirations and securing the best possible outcomes for their futures. This can be challenging but also a rewarding experience.

You will be part of a diverse and dynamic Team committed to achieving good outcomes for our young people within a supportive and cooperative teamwork environment.

About you

The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young people and will have previous experience in this field or in other relevant settings such as immigration, homelessness, youth work, residential work or adult services.

The Leaving Care Service is busy, supportive and committed to continuous improvement.
