Ealing is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Consultant to join our Behaviour and Inclusion Service. The service is well established and highly regarded in schools and is focused on reducing suspension/exclusion and supporting schools in the key Ofsted judgement area of behaviour and safety.

The service is designed to complement the Therapeutic Thinking and behaviour work underway in high schools. We are looking for reliable individuals with good communication skills, committed to and energetic about working in partnership with schools to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

About you

We are looking for experienced, knowledgeable qualified teachers or social workers (or equivalent qualification/experience) with a high level of expertise in working with schools, children and families and whose focus is improving outcomes for students. You will meet the person specification and will provide direct interventions to students in schools and consultation on individuals; as well as professional advice and guidance to school leaders and schools’ staff on reducing exclusion, managing behaviour and supporting children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs in school.

The individual appointed will have proven successful experience of working within schools, behaviour services and/or related fields, and a track record delivering measurable improvements in the behaviour of young people directly and within the whole school.
