An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager position within the Exploitation service in London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The Exploitation team supports vulnerable adolescents and their families, with a particular focus in the area of child exploitation. The team provides services to young people and their families/carers affected by going missing from home or care, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, serious youth violence and or gang affiliation. You will be passionate and driven and be an experienced manager who is looking to expand or develop further your experience in practice with young people. The team is dynamic and skilled, and consists of a mix of social workers and police officers working directly with young people and their families to support positive outcomes and have a sustainable impact on improving lived experience.
You will have the ability to work closely with the team, service manager and multi-agency partnership to drive the strategic vision forward while being innovative and creative in your approach to service delivery. As a team manager you will work collaboratively and cooperatively with the team and the senior managers to continue and enhance the team development, delivering on key priorities for the service.

have a good knowledge and understanding of Exploitation
have a good working knowledge of complex and contextual safeguarding and the complexities of extra-familial harm.
