About the role
The Group Manager for FSP will have the overarching responsibility of 5 teams which hold complex statutory cases. In addition, they will take on a strategic lead role in Frontline, implementation of the key thematic areas of the Children’s Social Care Improvement Plan such as neglect, harm outside the home and domestic abuse. 
The roles and responsibility are outlined within the Job Description which is attached. You need to have at least five years experience as an operational Team Manager.
The post will report into the Head of Service for Family Support & Protection and Children with Disabilities.

Requirements
-Working knowledge of the legislative framework within which Social Care operates, inclusive of regulation, national guidance and procedures specific to this post.
-Thorough understanding of quality assurance an ability to integrate this understanding into practice
-A nationally recognised or other social work England recognised social work qualification. A current SWE registration will be a condition of appointment FSP Group Manager
-A substantial amount of team management experience in the children and families’ field
-Experience of working as a Practitioner and Manager within a multicultural environment which provides services to a variety of disadvantaged groups.
