oyal Greenwich Kinship Service is seeking to recruit dynamic Social Workers to join our innovative and well-regarded Permanence Service in providing the best possible outcomes for our Children in Our Care. You will be joining our Specialist Kinship Team. We are looking for a qualified, registered children and families Social Worker, with experience of direct social work practice in the permanence service. The successful candidate will perform tasks that will include a variety of assessments that include viability, private fostering, special guardianship, Kinship and Child Arrangement Order assessments.
You will need good knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation and guidance which governs Children’s Social Care within Special Guardianship, Kinship and Private Fostering Services. Experience of Court work and working within timescales is also a requirement as the Kinship, Special Guardianship and Child Arrangement Order assessments are Court directed.
