About the role
The successful applicant will become part of a team and wider service who have the well being and rights of children and young people inscribed in their hearts. Social Workers work with children and young people up to the age of 18 carrying out our statutory requirements for children who are in our LA care.
We also work closely with our highly skilled Personal Advisors who support our Care Leavers up to the age of 25.

Hillingdon Children's Services is  a 'Trauma Informed Service' employing Social Workers who have the insight and dedication to join us on this journey whilst being supported in their career development.
 
We're seeking creative, innovative, compassionate, curious, and relationship-based Social Workers who strive to give, seek, receive, and learn from feedback to ensure we provide the best possible service for our children every day.
 
Requirements for applicants:
  • A Social Work qualification and active registration with Social Work England.
  • At least 12 months' postgraduate experience and completed your ASYE, where applicable.
  • Be able to evidence a commitment to your own development since qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children who are in LA care.
