We work with the ethos that in order to deliver an Outstanding service to our children and young people, we need to invest in the outstanding people who work here. As one staff member said ‘we look after each other so that we can look after the children and young people we serve’
We work together to ensure our children and young people are given the opportunities they need to thrive. But don’t take our word for it! In 2022 we conducted a survey with our children in care, a high proportion of our children aged 4-18 said that they trusted their social workers, over 90% said they felt happy and felt that the things they did were worthwhile. One of our children even said, when asked what could be better for them, ‘nothing, because everything in care is already better for me’
