Working directly with children and young people in their school setting, as well as with teachers and other school staff; you will be confident in your ability to form relationships at all levels. Can you bring your own life experiences to support these children and young people while challenging the norm?
About The Role
In this unique role, you will be working independently with the average of 15 children and young people with a key focus on preventative work. Your role will be to identify children earlier on to avoid the need for statutory interventions on a school-based level.

No two days will be the same, and you will undertake a variety of different activities according to the particular needs of each school. You will work alongside the schools and your team manager to agree the appropriate interventions, activities and support you can provide which might include statutory intervention as well as supporting those being stepped down.
You will need to demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to contribute to supporting as many children and young people as possible. You will be based across schools in the borough with one day a month working from home.
