Achieving for Children provides a comprehensive and supportive programme for Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) based in our Children’s Services.
Our programme provides all NQSWs with the training and development they need to grow and progress in their roles. They will have a protected caseload throughout the programme, reflective supervision, a buddy within the team and the support of a dedicated team. You will have an ASYE assessor to support and help you progress during your first year in employment.
All of our social work roles work in partnership with children, young people and those connected to them, in order to co-create plans that meet their identified needs. Our social care services are made up of the following teams which you could be joining -

Achieving for Children (AfC) is a community interest company (a not-for-profit social enterprise) created in 2014 by the Royal Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Richmond to provide their children’s services.
