This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a real difference for children and young people with additional and special needs and disabilities in the London Borough of Ealing.
You will play a vital role in maintaining and developing strong and resilient relationships with schools, education settings, FE providers, health and social care and voluntary sector partners to further improve inclusion and outcomes for children and young people.
Leading high-performing and cohesive teams, you will inherit a rapidly developing SEND partnership built around our new Strategy for Children and Young People with additional needs/SEND 2023-2027. You will be instrumental in securing the full commitment of partners, setting the highest expectations and delivering this strategy.
You will be integral in continuing the work on co-production with children, young people, carers and parents to drive transformation. You will have the unique opportunity to work through Ealing Learning Partnership, an established collaboration between the council and schools to drive excellence and wellbeing for learners.
You will come with not only a deep understanding of effective systems around SEND and inclusion but also a passion to improve outcomes for some of our most vulnerable children and young people. We are looking for an experienced, empathetic leader with excellent partnership skills, a deep understanding of the challenges facing children and young people needs and the ability to mobilise action around our shared vision.
If you think you have what it takes to lead with conviction and work with partners at this level to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people, we would like to hear from you.
