We are looking for an enthusiastic team manager to make a real difference to the lives of our disabled children and young people.
Ofsted has rated us as “Good” across all four key inspection areas.
Inspectors recently noted that “disabled children receive high quality support and services from well trained workers”.
This is an exciting opportunity for a new or experienced manager to join a service which is developing practice with disabled children so that we can offer them a consistently excellent service. We have completed our restructuring, and this enables us to offer continuity of services to our children and families from 0 to 25 in line with The Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and experienced management team which is well supported by senior managers. You will lead a team of deputy team managers, social workers, social work assistants and a short break coordinator to provide excellent services for disabled young people. Working in partnership with schools, health colleagues and other local partners we are committed to providing excellent outcomes for all of the young people we work with.
We are looking for an aspirational and creative individual to fill this Team Manager role. You will need to have excellent communication skills, experience in managing students or social workers, and be committed to working with disabled children and their families. We would welcome applications from new or experienced managers who are currently working with Children’s or Adult social services.
