You will facilitate child protection meetings as an independent advisor, ensuring that children and young people are safeguarded at all times and are kept at the centre of any decision making.
You will formulate SMART plans in a timely manner, utilising the Signs of Safety approach.
You will complete midway reviews to ensure the progression of plans.
You will be part of the duty rota, facilitating child protection consultations.
You will work as part of a strongly established Child Protection Team.
Your are curious, courageous and kind in your work with families, partner agencies and colleagues.
You are an experienced Social Worker with Team Manager level experience.
You hold an active Social Work England registration.
You enjoy working in a team, are confident in your decision making and are able to deal with difficult situations in a calm manner.
You are able to analyse complex information quickly and are able to challenge with excellent verbal and written skills.
You are organised, flexible and have good record keeping skills.
You are dedicated to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and their families and will go the extra mile to effect change.
