We’re looking for experienced, compassionate, and talented people passionate about changing lives across Westminster. Our department is hiring throughout the year for social work positions so, whatever your skillset, we’ve got a role for you.
From Child Protection and Family Support, to Looked After Children and Leaving Care Services, our people make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children every day. And we’ll support you at every stage, giving you all the training and guidance you need to be at your best for the families of Westminster.

This is a place like no other, where people lead with empathy and value diversity. We’re proud to say that, with us, our social workers flourish. You could too.
At Westminster, you will be a valued member of an exceptional service with a stable workforce who bring a range of experiences, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds into the work of safeguarding and corporate parenting. The families and young people you will work with across or living outside of Westminster’s communities will be equally diverse, so we’re particularly keen to hear from you if you’re from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background. If you are able to speak more than one language, please highlight this as it is a desirable skill.
Target salaries listed fall within the Council's Band 3, steps 1-5 for further potential for progression
