Social Work recruitment event in Newham: Wednesday 3rd of July

Newham are hosting a Social Work recruitment event, suitable for UK-based qualified social workers across all levels.

We've had a lovely response to our most recent social work story from Laura Eden, Newham's recently appointed Director of Children's Services. Laura will be at the event to chat about her vision for children and families in Newham.

You can also find out about Newham's practice model, career progression opportunities, and the support that they offer practitioners; there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you have about Newham's services, or the borough's recruitment process.

Attendees will:

• Meet our new Director of Children's Services, Laura Eden.
• Hear about the Newham Practice framework.
• Hear about opportunities offered by our Social Care Academy and the career pathways that are available to permanent staff.
• Have the opportunity to directly ask questions of senior leaders, operational managers and recruitment lead.
• Have an opportunity to directly ask questions about the application and recruitment processes and how to get ahead.
