Held in Camden’s main offices at 5 Pancras Square, the 50 attendees heard from staff across children’s services. Attendees met with social work colleagues throughout the day to get a feel for what it’s like to work in the borough.
There was a range of activities across the day. This included a roundtable discussion led by Tim Aldridge, Camden’s Executive Director of Children and Learning, and Nana Bonsu, the borough’s Director for Relational Practice. This conversation included several social workers and provided a snapshot of Camden's vision for the future of Social Work. Watch the full session below:
Other events included a speech from Rashida Baig, Camden's Director of Family Help and Safeguarding, and a second roundtable led by various service leads, who discusses working and leadership at Camden.
